TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS

Thank you for entrusting the care and attention of your health to Woodside Osteopathic Clinic. This letter details our Practice Terms and Conditions. Some aspects of the Terms may not be relevant to you and we request that you ask for further explanation/clarification if required.


ONLINE BOOKING

 
This has been created for your convenience and we hope you find this feature useful. We operate a strict 24 hour cancellation policy at the clinic. This is due to the number of emergency cases we get on a daily basis of people that require treatment.

ONLINE PAYMENT

 
We are required to take a payment via paypal using a debit or credit card upfront when booking online, this is due to the high demand at the clinic and to avoid any fraud or telemarketing creating false accounts and booking false appointments. PLEASE NOTE: You do not need a paypal account to pay through this website, just a usual debit or credit card.
We understand this isn’t ideal for some patients and therefore you are welcome to book by calling the clinic where you won’t be required to pay upfront.
We will have a record of your payment and it means you will not need to pay after your session at the clinic.
 


METHODS OF PAYMENT

 
Accounts, for all treatments are due for settlement at the end of the consultation. You may settle the account using:

  • CASH
  • CREDIT/DEBIT CARD - Switch, Solo, Mastercard, Visa, Delta, AMEX

 

 
ESTIMATES OF TREATMENT COSTS

 

We will happily provide a written estimate as to the probable costs of a course of treatment. Please bear in mind that any estimate given can only be approximate - often recovery time depends on a patients individual injuries and lifestyle.
 

 
INABILITY TO PAY

 

If, for any reason, you are unable to settle your account as specified, we ask you to discuss the matter as soon as possible with the clinic director. Please note that instalments or part payments of any account are not allowed as the practice does not have a credit license.
 

 
HEALTH INSURANCE

 
Woodside Osteopathic Clinic strongly supports the principle of insuring yourself against unexpected illness or accidents. It is the patients responsibility to call their insurance company to check they will cover treatment at our clinic. Due to industry regulations we are unable to recommend specific policies.  Please ask for details from any member of staff. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to settle your account and then reclaim the fees from your Insurance Company. We will happily print you off statements to send to them.

 

 
COMPLAINTS AND STANDARDS

 
We hope that you never have recourse to complain about the standards of service received from Woodside Osteopathic Clinic. However, if you feel that there is something you wish to complain about, please direct your comments in the first instance to Anisha Joshi.
 

 
OWNERSHIP OF RECORDS

 
Case records including MRI/XRAY results and images are the property of, and will be retained by, Woodside Osteopathic Clinic. Copies with a summary of the history will be passed on request to other health practitioners and solicitors if required.
 

 
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.

 

No addition or variation of these conditions will bind the practice unless it is specifically agreed in writing and signed by Anisha Joshi. No agent or person employed by, or under contract with, the practice has the authority to alter or vary these conditions in anyway.
