Max ManlayMax is a registered Osteopath through the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) as well as being a qualified and experienced personal trainer having previously specialised in injury rehabilitation and sports performance.

Max graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London where his passion for Osteopathy developed alongside his private practice as a sports massage therapist and personal trainer.

Max has had a strong background in competitive sports, in particular rugby and rowing which naturally developed into a successful personal training career helping others enhance their sports performance and injury recovery, sparking an interest in injury rehabilitation and the human body in general which then led him to pursue a career in Osteopathy.

Max combines Osteopathic treatment alongside exercise rehabilitation to address pain, dysfunction and to improve performance through a customised and comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation program.

“I strive to provide a comprehensive service in identifying common causes of injuries and creating individual treatment plans to reduce pain and improve function. I provide Osteopathic treatment, exercise and lifestyle rehabilitation advice, using up to date techniques and treatments through educating patients about their own bodies to reduce further chances of injury”

Outside of his Master’s degree, Max has spent the last ten years learning from industry leaders in the fields of strength and conditioning, body composition, exercise rehabilitation for shoulder and lower back pain and pain management.

Max has helped all kinds of individuals, ranging from everyday professionals experiencing aches and pains and various illnesses, to competitive athletes suffering from serious injuries.

Max’s aim is to help all clients by using effective treatment and rehabilitation to improve function and performance.

Max strives to constantly update and improve his knowledge and understanding through continual professional development in order to be at the forefront of the industry and provide an unparalleled service of excellence for all of his patients. He hopes in the future to take part in courses within the fields of musculoskeletal and sports medicine to better his knowledge and skill set.
